In 1966 they discovered Empuriabrava, which at that time was a huge esplanade. At that moment they detected a business opportunity, it wasn’t until 1967 when they decided to open their first establishment to the public, which for several years was the shelter of many workers.
Montserrat and Josep managed the street vending and store simultaneously for several years due to the lack of tourists. Years passed and Empuriabrava continued to grow into one of the largest residential marinas in the world.
